We’re on the road to THU Japan, and we’re beyond excited to be able to present it at Kaga City, the place where we’ll be hosting a retreat that will change your whole perspective on storytelling.
It’s this Saturday, May 20th, that we will officially present the beautiful city of Kaga, as the place to be for creating new, bold ways of connecting with audiences across multiple mediums. THU Japan promises to be an unforgettable experience for all those who attend it.
To kick things off, and to set the mood of unpredictability, we’ll be showcasing a pantomime experience and performance by the great Ketch! Ketch offers a multidisciplinary show driven by theatrical improvisation, where different disciplines such as magic, juggling, and music are mixed. We’re opening this performance up to the community, as we also want the Kaga community to open itself to the Tribe.
Then, we’ll head to the press conference, where THU’s CEO, André Lourenço will be sharing some of the things we have prepared for the big dates and why we made our way to Japan. One special guest who will also be present at the press conference is the Mayor of Kaga. We are thrilled to have him join us and show his support for this event that will showcase the intersections of mediums and creativity. If you're around, feel free to join us!
We cannot wait to bring the magic of THU Japan to Kaga, and we are excited to see new fresh ideas come to fruition after this retreat, taking place this year, September 20-23. Stay tuned for more information on the speakers and activities, as they will become available very soon, and get ready for an unforgettable experience with the best senseis you could have.
