General Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the THU Platform and THU Store website, and the APP operated by Trojan Horse was a Unicorn.
This document sets out the terms and conditions between THU, S. A., owner of Trojan Horse was Unicorn, and you when you use the THU Platform and Apps, create an account on our platform, purchase a ticket or register for activities, challenges, and events organized by Trojan Horse was a Unicorn, make a purchase on our online store or use any other service provided by us. You agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.
Trojan Horse was a Unicorn reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice. Any amended terms and conditions will be posted on this page.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THU Platform Content
The content on the THU Platform and on the related products is either owned by THU or is owned by third parties and used under license by THU. You are not granted any license to use this content and will not reproduce, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works of, or mark other products or services with this content.
THU reserves the right to change these Terms at any time, and it is your responsibility to refer to and comply with these when accessing the THU Platform. Your use after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of these Terms of Use as modified.
Platform Usage & Intellectual Property
THU makes no warranties or representations as to our the THU Platform accuracy and specifically disclaims any liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content on the THU Platform.
Neither we nor our parent or affiliated companies, nor any other party involved in creating, producing, or delivering the THU Platform is liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, or use of, or inability to use or access the THU Platform.
You agree that the use of the THU Platform is entirely at your own risk.
Furthermore, neither we nor any third-party content provider make any warranty with respect to any content, information, services, or products provided through or in conjunction with the THU Platform.
We assume no responsibility, and shall not be liable for, any damages to, or viruses that may infect, your computer equipment or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing in the THU Platform or your downloading of any materials, data, text, images, video, or audio from the THU Platform. THU respects the intellectual property of others, and requires that you do the same. All rights, particularly related to trademarks, copyrights, inventions and industrial property rights, with all rights to programs, documents and information, title and interest, especially in and to THU’s brand features and the THU Platform, and IP rights shall rest exclusively with THU. If we become aware of the presence of IP infringing material, we will promptly take down or block access to the allegedly infringing material. Please contact THU support and our internal process structure will ensure appropriate action.
This THU Platform and the related products and services are offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis, disclaiming all warranties, including specifically the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitations of Damages
In disputes arising from your use of this THU Platform or the related products or services, we will not be liable for anything other than direct damages (for example, excluding indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages). The total amount of damages awarded to you will also be limited to amounts previously paid by you to us.

THU Event Tickets and Registrations
This section sets out the terms and conditions between THU S. A., owner of Trojan Horse was Unicorn, and you when you purchase a ticket or register for any event or activity organized by Trojan Horse was a Unicorn. By purchasing a ticket or registering for an event, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.
General conditions
Attendees of THU Events must be 18 years old or over to access venues and activities of THU physical and virtual events.
During the purchase and checkout process, your ticket is not reserved. It will only be reserved once you complete the purchase.
If you are a company or school interested in purchasing THU Tickets, please contact us at [email protected], service fees exemptions are usually available for these cases.
You must create an account to purchase a ticket and register for a THU Event. For Personal Data collected on THU Platform please refer to our Privacy Notice.
Trojan Horse was a Unicorn reserves the right to cancel, change, and create new activities for THU Events, before and after you purchased your ticket or registered to an event. Any cancellations, changes, or further actions will be posted on our Platform.
Payment Systems and available payment options
We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express).
Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd is the payment gateway for orders paid with Visa, MasterCard & American Express. The parties of the transaction are the customer and Stripe. Consequently, Stripe is responsible for all related obligations, and also the recipient of the payment.
Group orders for companies and tickets can be paid with an invoice upon request.
THU S.A. may request verification of payment for the purpose of resolving possible disputes about the purchase.
Why do I have to pay VAT and fees?
Value Added Tax is paid at the time of purchase of a product, as is the case with admission to certain cultural events such as THU. It is paid by everyone, even VAT-registered businesses in EU countries, and there is no distinction between residents and non-residents.
For physical events, the applicable VAT depends on where the THU event is being held. Local VAT will apply.
Please fill in your billing details at the time of purchase to receive the corresponding invoice.
Payment and transaction fees are paid to our payment gateway provider; unfortunately, there is no way to avoid this.
Companies and group tickets
THU is an incredible experience for schools and companies to arrange for their students or employees! Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you’re looking to buy more than five tickets. Companies or schools have the service fees exemption, so please drop us a line, and we will help you.
Automatic emails and mailing lists
When you purchase a THU Ticket for an event you will receive the types of communications:
- THU automatic emails: for action-related notifications (like changing a password, being accepted for a mentorship or getting approval from an application list).
- THU account mailing list: for THU Platform account users. Emails to inform you of updates on functionalities of the THU Platform and user area, updates on Privacy Notice, and other relevant changes.
- Email Subscriptions: f you subscribed to a Monthly or Activities email subscription through our website or other email, you may receive exclusive content related to our events and other initiatives.
- THU mailing list: for attendees registered in THU Events or Challenges. These communications are essential to keep you updated on any changes, updates, special offers, and other necessary information regarding the events and challenges. Once the event or initiative ends, our communications cease, and you will no longer receive our emails.

Onsite Events
Once your ticket has been purchased, you’ll have access to an exclusive attendees area through your account, where you can learn about other attendees, read the latest notifications and event timelines, and take other actions. You’ll find your ticket details and virtual ticket under My Membership.
You’ll also be able to access your invoices through the Billing menu (you can find it by clicking on your avatar and accessing your personal area).
Upon your arrival at the event, please check in at the THU welcome desk, where you must confirm your registration. Your virtual ticket will be requested.

Purchase of tickets
Each THU event can have different ticket types and prices. Some THU event ticket prices may include meals and accommodation. THU reserves the right to create early bird campaigns for specific events, during a limited period of time. Please carefully read our Useful Information and FAQs on our landing pages to learn what each ticket includes.
Within the scope of the New Voices initiative, THU also reserves the right to sponsor event entrance to some community members through an application system. These available tickets are limited and subject to different criteria, according to each event. All final ticket prices include the VAT Tax and payment and transaction fees.
Payments by Installments
You can pay for your ticket with small payments made over a fixed period of time. The total price of the ticket (ticket price + VAT + fees) will be divided by the number of installments, which vary depending on when you purchase your ticket (the sooner the more installments!). No additional fees will be added. The date of the monthly payments is always determined by the day on which you make the first payment.

Installment payments must use the same payment method and card each time.
Payment through installments is not available when purchasing accommodation or other additional products.
Automatic charges
You will be automatically charged on the same credit card used on the first payment. Stripe will store the credit card information for these operations. Automatically, charges only apply to credit cards. For more details, please consult the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Payment Delays
Payments by installments need to be completed monthly within a maximum of five (5) days after the scheduled date; otherwise, you will lose your reservation. If you decide not to continue payment no refunds will be made of the payments already made.
By purchasing a ticket through our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Non-Transferrable Single Tickets: Single tickets purchased through our Platform are considered for individual use only and are non-transferable. The ticket is assumed to be for the purchaser's own use.
Group Ticket Transfers: Group tickets, which are purchased in multiple quantities in a single transaction, are transferrable. However, each ticket will require individual assigning so that all ticket holders are registered for the event. Group purchases only apply to Warrior tickets (exclusions to companies may apply).
Transfer of Single Tickets: If you intend to purchase a single ticket on behalf of a colleague or friend, you must contact our support team to request that the ticket be transferred to the intended recipient.
Transfer Process: The transfer of single tickets is subject to approval by our support team. Proof of purchase and identification (THU accounts) of both the purchaser and the intended recipient will be required during the transfer process. The new recipient must have a THU account to be a ticket holder, and the person must be eligible according to these Terms and Conditions.
Main Event Ticket Types and Prices
Pioneer Tickets
Pioneers Tickets are only available for THU Pioneers–Tribe members who were part of the first edition of THU in 2013 or the 2021 Main Event.
Pioneers can only buy one (1) ticket as these special prices are applied to each attendee's profile. Pioneer Tickets can only be transferred to another Pioneer.
Veteran Tickets
Veteran Tickets are now available for attendees who have participated in one prior edition of THU Main Event.
Veterans can only buy one (1) ticket as these special prices are applied to each attendee profile. Veteran Tickets can only be transferred to another person who has attended at least 1 ME .
Warrior Tickets
Warrior Tickets are for all other attendees (non-Pioneers and non-Veterans).
You can buy up to a maximum of five Warrior Tickets at a time.
Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable but there are some exceptions:
If THU S.A. is obligated to cancel the event;
If travel to the event location is prohibited from your current address.
In the second case, submission of proof of visa rejection is required. Visa requests must also be submitted in a timely matter for the team to consider your request. The refund excludes fees.
THU S.A. will not be liable and responsible for the granting of any VISAS that are required to attend the THU Events. In case of an approved refund due to these exceptional circumstances, we require the last four digits of the credit card used for payment. Refunds will be issued to the original payment card and will not include the fees associated with the original payment process.
COVID-19 related information
Update December 2024:
As global COVID-19 entry requirements continue to evolve, most destinations no longer require travelers to present negative test results, vaccination certificates, or proof of recovery. However, some local regulations, such as mask mandates or specific health protocols, may still apply in certain areas or transportation hubs.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, we adhere to global health and safety standards, taking into account communicable diseases such as COVID-19 and other health risks. These guidelines are subject to updates based on recommendations from local authorities and global health organizations.
Before You Travel:
Check the latest entry requirements for your destination and transit countries, as these can vary widely.
If feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms, consider testing and consulting a healthcare professional before traveling.
During the Event:
Hygiene Practices: Wash hands regularly, use hand sanitizer, and avoid close contact with others if feeling unwell.
Protective Measures: Wear a mask in crowded spaces if required by local regulations or if you prefer added protection.
Illness Reporting: If you test positive for any communicable disease or feel unwell during the event, please inform our team immediately for appropriate assistance.
Health and safety measures at our events are reviewed regularly to align with official guidelines in each location. We recommend you stay informed about any updates by consulting trusted resources such as the World Health Organization (WHO) or the health authority of your travel destination.
Other THU Initiatives
Each THU Activity has a dedicated Space within the THU Platform where participants can access more information about the activity and blog articles for additional information. Participation in THU Activities requires prior registration on the THU Platform. Participants will be asked to provide their name, email, and country of residence during registration. Certain activities may require additional information to participate.
You will receive THU email communications regarding the challenges. These may contain important updates, related information, or offers. Please read our Privacy Notice for more information regarding THU email communications.
Check each edition’s landing page for all specific regulations and criteria.
THU reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions, if necessary, from time to time. Changes will be published on THU’s Platform.
A. Golden Ticket and other challenges
Entering challenges
All entries must be submitted through the THU Platform after creating an account. To complete a submission, you must fill out the submission form, ensuring all mandatory fields are completed. Entries must be both created and submitted by the specified deadline.
Winners will be announced on the THU Platform and notified via email. The prize is personal and non-transferable.
B. Talent League
Entering TL
All entries must be submitted through the THU Platform after creating an account, and meet the age criteria outlined in the program guidelines. Submissions are open to individuals or teams, as specified for each Talent League edition. All submissions must adhere to the format and requirements outlined on the THU Platform. Each participant must complete the submission form, including all mandatory details, before the stated deadline.
Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of industry experts. Selection criteria will focus on originality, creativity, and alignment with the program’s objectives. Shortlisted participants may be contacted for additional information.
The selected teams will be announced on the THU Platform and notified via email. The mentorship sessions will happen on the THU Platform.
C. Career Camp - Online Event
Career Camp is a virtual and free event organized by THU. Participation requires prior registration through the THU Platform, and the THU team will review all registrations. To increase your chances of being selected, ensure your profile and portfolio on the THU Platform are complete, detailed, and reflect your professional background and skills.
All participants will receive an email notification regarding the outcome of their application, whether selected or not. Notifications will be sent via email to the address provided during registration.
Access and Tickets
Warriors (previous attendees of THU Events)
Warriors will get two tickets - one for them and another one to give to a friend. They will receive an email and their tickets will be available on their THU account, where they can invite a friend and the person will be required to accept the invitation before being able to join the event.
Non-Warriors
Non-Warriors will need an invitation to access the Career Camp. They can either be invited by a Tribe member, or they can apply for a ticket on our Platform.

THU Store
Orders
Placing an Order
If not stated otherwise, all displayed goods are in stock and all orders will usually get sent out within 1-8 business days. To place an order, please add items to your cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" button on the product page. For apparel items, you will need to choose the size button first. Click “Check Out” button when you are ready to place your order in the down right-hand corner of the web page. In checkout, you will submit your payment and shipping information.
Please review your order before checking out to ensure that the correct items/sizes are being ordered. When the information is entered, click "Continue to payment method" to place your order. Please note that if you don't pick up your order at your local post-office within their limit dates and your order gets sent back to us, the THU Store will not be held accountable. You will have to pay a new shipment to get it back.
Processing of your order
Most orders usually ship within 1-5 business days. Some international orders may take up to 8 business days to process. Orders are not processed after 12:00 pm (GMT) or on weekends. Any orders placed during this time will be processed within the normal time frame. If you place an order after 12:00 pm (GMT), your item will not ship until your order has been processed on the following business day.
Exceptions are made during special sales. THU will fulfill the orders once the sale period has ended.
Packaging of your order
Orders will be shipped either in a soft envelope or a box, depending on the number of items in the order.
Product Availability
If an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfill your order, we will notify you within two business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.
Product Suggestions
We appreciate feedback and suggestions from the Tribe and customers. Please feel free to email our THU Store support with a product suggestion.
Prices
All prices at THU Store are displayed only in Euros (€). We suggest you look up the latest exchange rate, to better understand the prices. Availability information for the products in our shop is listed on each item's detail page. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if any items you order turn out to be unavailable or if their delivery will be delayed due to any reasons. When you place an order to purchase a product from THU Store, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing the details and the total value of your order.
Payment
THU Store accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard and PayPal. We are a licensed company and a verified PayPal account holder. Payment is captured at the time the order is placed. Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd is the payment gateway for orders paid with Visa, MasterCard & American Express. The parties of the transaction are the customer and Stripe. Consequently, Stripe is responsible for all related obligations, and also the recipient of the payment. We do not accept payments via money order, check, COD, or cash. We only accept payment in Euros (€). We are not responsible for any fees charged by your bank or Paypal to convert your currency to Euros (€).
THU and the THU Store is a Yellow Mammoth brand; your charge will appear on your credit card statement as Yellow Mammoth.
Shipping policy and shipping methods
Shipping
We currently only ship to:
- Portugal and Spain (free shipping for orders under 1 kilo)
- Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Malta, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Lithuania and Czechia.
Some orders may be sent in separate packages. Please be aware that we cannot deliver to PO boxes or APO addresses. If you have questions about your shipment, if your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery time, or if you believe your order is being returned to sender, please contact THU Store support.
Shipping costs
To estimate shipping costs, please add items to your shopping cart. The final shipping cost is generally calculated by the quantity of items, weight of the items and the shipping address. The final shipping and handling cost can be calculated from the Shopping Cart.
Orders shipped internationally may have customs fees, duties, or taxes applied to them. We are not able to estimate those costs and are not responsible for any fees collected by customs. To find out more information about these fees, please contact your local customs agency.
Domestic Shipments
We ship our products using nationally recognized carriers. You will take title to products sent to you at the time we pass them to the shipper, and you will bear the risk of loss during shipping. If you fail to receive a product, please contact the shipper directly.
International Shipments
All recipients outside of the EU, are responsible for any local import duties, customs and brokerage fees, or taxes that may be charged. Usually these charges are paid for by the carrier on import of the shipment and then are invoiced to the recipient on or after delivery of the shipment. THU will not be able to offer compensation or refunds for orders that are not deliverable because customs fees are not being paid for by the recipient. Standard time in transit does not include Customs clearance.
Multiple Shipments
When you place an order of several items we will do make our best to package the items together. You may have ordered items that could not be packaged together (i.e. Apparel and Sketchbooks), and therefore had to be shipped separately. If all shipments have not arrived within the estimated delivery times, please contact THU Store support.
Shipping Damage
Should your shipment arrive at your delivery address damaged, please do not accept the shipment, or have the courier confirm the damage. Since courier services will not accept damage complaints that are filed at a later date, we will not be able to offer compensation or exchange in such cases.
Returns and exchanges
Product Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you aren’t, you can return unused products within 30 days from the delivery date. Please contact THU Store support for more information. We will pay for the return shipping only in cases of defective products or mishandled orders. Once you receive the return confirmation email from our THU Store support, please send the item back to the address indicated.
The customer is responsible for return postage, and we recommend you send the item back via a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit. Once we receive the item, please allow up to 4 weeks for the return to be processed. We cannot refund the shipping fees unless the return is due to our error, damaged or defective merchandise. Items returned for refund must be in brand new condition - unworn (except to try on), unwashed, and unused, no exceptions - and within 30 days of purchase.
Any items that are received in less than new condition will not be returned and the refund will not be processed. Less than new condition includes but is not limited to: items that have been worn or are dirty, items that have animal or human hair, items that do not smell new, items that have been laundered. Items that are found to be unsellable upon return will take additional time to process, as the item is forwarded to THU Store support for inspection. Items that are sold in a bundle must be returned as a bundle. We will not accept part of a bundled item for return.
Return to Sender
If your order is returned to sender due to an incorrect or invalid address, missed delivery, or refused delivery, you will not be refunded for the item.
Exchanges
For items with damages or defects, or incorrect items received or mis-shipped, an exchange will be processed. Please contact THU Store support.
Amend an Order or Change a Size
We cannot guarantee that your order can be amended before it is shipped. Please review your order before checking out to ensure that the correct information is entered and the items/sizes are correct. If you need to change your order, please contact THU Store support.
We are unable to change the sizes of items in an order, change billing information (including addresses), add items to an existing order, or combine orders, therefore we will cancel that first order and issue a new one. Please note, amending your address in your address book does not affect any previously submitted orders.
Cancellation Policy
You can only cancel your order before it is shipped. if you receive an email that it has been shipped you cannot cancel your order.
Warranties
Recommended Washing Instruction
We recommend that you wash your apparel inside out and in cold water and hang to dry. Apparel that was damaged as a result of incorrect washing cannot be returned or exchanged. Apparel washed correctly will not shrink or may shrink up to 1%.
Warranties
Beyond a 30-day return period and for a period of 2 years, THU warrants for clearly essential and unrecoverable defects, only. THU is not responsible for specific characteristic of products and any public statements of THU, for example in advertisement or general product descriptions, shall only be considered if have been expressly and specifically agreed in writing.
THU shall only warrant for such defects, which existed at the time of the purchase, rendering or acceptance of the product. THU shall – at its sole discretion – remove defects subject to warranty by substitution.
Products & Services are provided “as is” with no liability, to the extent as permitted by law; e.g. under no circumstances will THU be liable for loss and damages, neither direct nor indirect, consequential loss or damages, business interruption. Without limiting the foregoing, THU's liability arising with respect to an order will not exceed the total fees paid or payable related to a specific order.
Incorrect products
Incorrect Shipment Contents
If you receive the wrong item, size, or order, please contact THU Store support immediately. Once the Item is received, we will exchange the item(s) at no additional cost to you.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you received an item that was found to be defective or damaged upon arrival, please contact THU Store support with your order number and photos of the defect or damage. If your item was damaged as a result of poor packing or in transit, please do not accept the shipment, or have the courier confirm the damage, also send to THU Store support images of how the item was packed in the box. We will accept damage or defect claims up to 30 days from the delivery date.
For limited edition items and numbered artwork that arrived damaged, THU Store support will provide additional instructions.
If you choose to return a damaged or defective item for a refund, please contact THU Store support and you will be refunded once the item is received back at our warehouse.

The essence of this Platform is to celebrate the THU experience and lifestyle. We support a variety of innovative artistic objects, accessories, digital prints, books and more, making these products available to purchase worldwide. Like most online retailers, we offer the use of this platform under a set of legal terms that are designed to keep our operation efficient. This efficiency, in turn, helps us reduce costs and provide you with lower prices for our products. These conditions of use are stated below, and your use of the Platform indicates that you agree to abide by these conditions of use.
Liability
Products & Services are provided "as is" with no liability, to the extent as permitted by law; e.g. under no circumstances will THU be liable for loss and damages, neither direct nor indirect, consequential loss or damages, business interruption. Without limiting the foregoing, THU's liability arising with respect to an order will not exceed the total fees paid or payable related to a specific order.
Depending on the country in which you reside, there are certain legally binding warranties and liabilities (e.g. product liability), which – without limiting the foregoing – are to be fulfilled by THU.
