Shooting an Oscar-nominated stop motion feature film in 30 weeks

Description

How were we going to make 'Memoir of a Snail', a 90 minute stop motion animated film, in 30 weeks, with a 16 week build/pre--production period, while also having a lower budget than 'Mary & Max', which came out more than 15 years ago? The answer: Being economically creative Being creatively economical Being brave & confident in every facet of this production. This presentation will be about the parameters, limitations and the various scheduling and production management processes and techniques I employed in my role/s as Production Manager and VFX Supervisor so that we completed Adam Elliot's 'Memoir of a Snail' on time and budget.
