Arpita Venugopal has 15 years’ experience in the VFX industry, beginning her career at MPC in 2010, followed by roles at Sony Pictures Imageworks, DNEG, and Wēta FX over the next 9 years. In 2019, Arpita joined One of Us as Lead FX TD on titles such as Pinocchio, as well as Netflix’s The Sandman, and A Discovery of Witches. Arpita stepped up into the role of Head of FX at the start of 2022, where she is responsible for building and leading a talented team of FX artists. Recent titles worked on by the studio’s FX team include The Wheel of Time Season 3, Havoc, Dr Who Season 2, and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Arpita’s interests and expertise lie in building workflows in Houdini, FX supervision and bringing out the best in her team.
