Biography
Hi, I'm Mateus Rahal Sala Polati, a Staff Sound Designer based in São Paulo, Brazil.
At Wildlife Studios, I work on both sound and music across a wide range of mobile games. With over 16 active titles in development, Wildlife’s projects challenge me to adapt to different visual styles, tones, and gameplay needs—something I genuinely love about working in game audio.
I hold a degree from Berklee College of Music, and my path through audio has been broad and hands-on. Over the years, I’ve worked as a musician, recording and mix engineer, producer, foley artist, and sound designer. I’ve also had the chance to both direct and be directed on creative projects, which has given me a deep appreciation for collaboration and storytelling from both sides of the process.
What drives me is the idea that sound isn’t just support—it’s part of the world-building. I believe audio should be felt as much as heard, and that it can be as expressive and vital as any visual element on screen.
This is my first time at THU, and I’m thrilled to be here representing Wildlife, sharing ideas, and learning from the incredible creative minds this community brings together.
