Brief Bio of David Masanso:
- Founder and Director of Crossroads Digital Multimedia, an Animation Studio in Uganda
- Co-Founder of Women in Animation Uganda.
- With over 17 years of experience, he specializes in producing and training animators.
- Recipient of the Afrique Acceleration Seed funded by (AFD) to produce a Children's Animation series.
- Co-producer of the Mukago Children's Animation Series, a local African animation
- Serves as the Head of Animation Training at Makerere University, Uganda.
- CNN Documentary African Voice Changer in the Animation Industry 2022,
- Multiple awards winner at the Uganda Film Festivals.
- Discop Expert Speaker on the animation industry in 2018, South Africa.
- Chief Animation Jury at the Kalasha Film & Market Festival 2019 in Nairobi, Kenya.
- Delivered a Keynote speech at the Durban Film Mart 2021, focusing on the animation industry and its connection to the international market, in South Africa.
- Served as an Animation Jury member at the Durban Film Mart 2022, also in South Africa.
