Gilles Gaillard is a media entrepreneur, co-founder of a number of key operational activities including n9ne studio, a company that targets to fully finance and support the development of premium series and movies from independent producers, Animaj who’s mission is to turn digital born successes into global franchise, and Mirettes.io a strategic advising practice to support executives and corporates of the media entertainment sector. Prior to this Gilles Gaillard served as Senior Vice President of Technicolor Animations & Games Service Line, Member of the Executive Committee of the Company until end of 2020. Gilles joined Technicolor in June 2015 as a result of the sell of Mikros Image and Mikros animation to Technicolor group. During his time at Mikros Image, which he had joined in 1999, he first led the digital cinema department and developed the company’s worldwide presence in Belgium, Luxembourg, Canada and UK, while strengthening the company’s activities in France. He was appointed CEO of Mikros Image in 2013 from MD role started in 2008. He also is the co-founder of Mikros Animation in that role, now part of Technicolor. He began his career as a freelancer on the creative side of the industry, working notably for Canal+ and Game One. He is a graduate of Ecole Nationale Louis Lumière, Paris and EMBA alumni of HEC Paris business school.
