As cheesy as it may sound, Dolphin Dude isn’t just a film; it’s an adventure that seamlessly blends education, advocacy, and entertainment. The movie is an adaptation of my book, which tells the story of a brave dolphin and his fin-tastic friends as they battle the threats of overfishing, plastic pollution, coral bleaching, and other marine challenges. On the surface, it’s a tale of marine conservation, but at its core, it’s about teaching kids that caring is cool. The story of Dolphin Dude is a powerful vehicle for showing that protecting our environment isn’t just the right thing to do—it’s fun, exciting, and truly cool. What started as an educational children’s book has blossomed into a thriving community of ocean ambassadors, eager to dive deeper into the cause. We recently released a trailer that captures our vision for the film and we’re in the process of securing sponsors and launching a crowdfunding campaign on September 12th to bring Dolphin Dude to life on the big screen.
