“A unicorn walks into a barra…”. What happens next? This session is all about the “What if” of storytelling. Using very primitive tools: Kris Pearn- story artist, and Scot Stafford- composer, this will be an interactive event where the process of story creation will be shared, explored, and challenged with a “YES AND…” attitude. Kris will doodle. Scot will noodle. And together the entire group will come up with a story. Characters, motivations, arcs, set ups and punchlines- this is filmmaking without a net. Mimicking a writer’s room, the goal will be to create an improv sketch of a sequence with drawings, voices, and MUSIC! Mistakes will be made. Revisions will be demanded. Ideas will be birthed and murdered live on stage. Breaking story with the Tribe… it will be FUN.
