Biography
Craig Mullins is a conceptual designer, illustrator, and matte painter who has worked in film, TV, computer games, and publishing for over 20 years. Craig landed in the Art Department at Industrial Light & Magic in 1991, where he met John Knoll, ILM VFX Supervisor and co-creator of Photoshop. He began experimenting and developing his own digital brushes for Photoshop. His work evolved into a signature 'painterly' style and technique that came to be known as digital 'quick painting', or 'speedpainting'.
