Carlos Ortega is a mexican 3D artist and illustrator, graduated as graphic designer but self taught in computer graphics. Inspired by animation in general, he is a passionated for color, light and character appeal. His work has been awarded over the last years on sites such as CGSociety and featured on specialized publications such as 3D Artist, 3D World, Exotique and Ballistic's Exposé, in which he earned the Fantasy Femmes Master award on its last edition. Worked as Lead Character & lighting artist for one of the first major animated films in Mexico and he currently works as a freelance character artist for film, short films, cinematics and advertising, colaborating with studios across Europe, North and South America and Asia.
