Ed pioneered acting training specifically for animators instead of stage or movie actors.

He is the author of “Acting for Animators - Revised 4th Edition” and “Craft Notes for Animators: A Perspective on a 21st Century Career”, and he has taught at most major animation studios and video game companies, including Disney, DreamWorks/PDI, Electronic Arts, Blue Sky, Ubisoft, Valve Software, Microsoft, and Sony Games.

Ed is a DeTao Master for the Detao Masters Academy in Shanghai, China and is on the board of Advisors at the FMX Festival in Stuttgart, Germany.
