Kenji Niki is a Tokyo based artist, working as an art director for Square-Enix Japan. After graduating from Tokyo University in law, Kenji decided to follow a different path and pursue his passion in art. He joined Square-Enix Japan in 2004 as an environment artist and worked on several titles from the FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES series as well as FINAL FANTASY XIII-2. He also worked on FINAL FANTASY XV as a concept artist, and tackled character designs as an art director for the KINGSGLAIVE FINAL FANTASY XV movie. 

Kenji always strives to improve his art and paints every day. His fascination for video games is strong, and even though he is terrible at playing them, he constantly searches for ways to push the boundaries of the medium further.
