Lip Comarella, born and raised in the heart of the Alps in very very north Italy, is currently based in New York. He is an award winning visual development artist, animation director and founder of the studio Salon Alpin.  At the moment he is visual development lead on an up and coming feature animation project for Netflix. Lip focuses on simple, emotional storytelling as well as tool agnostic design and communication principles.

Over the recent years his projects have been honored with awards like the Annie Award in 2019, two Apple Design Awards in 2017 and 2019 and several Cannes Gold Lions. He is a strong advocate for Finnish Sauna and steam bath and never fails to underline its therapeutic properties to everyone.
