Nicolas Nemiri was born in 1975 in Mulhouse, France. He studied at European School of Visual Arts in Angoulême for four years. 

After two years as a fashion and manga illustrator he became known to the french public with the comics, Je Suis Morte, Written by Jean David Morvan and Published by Glenat. Their collaboration continued with two kids books,The Hyper L’Hippo and Annie Zoo, published by Delcourt. They also signed with delcourt to work on the graphic novel, Kuro Kuma. Nicolas Nemiri also contributed to numerous collective comics ( Edge II, Interfaces I and II, Bob Dylan Revisited, Les Autes Gen, Etc.) And is working in the Chinese movie industry as a concept artist.
