In this talk, Diogo aims to share the results of the two-year journey that led to The Hunt's creation. Diogo went to the 2022 edition of THU to find collaborators for his first venture into film directing. Two years later the film is complete and traveling the world (with some screenings confirmed in major film festivals). About the Hunt: With very humble beginnings, Diogo developed the principles of "Guerilla Animation" to allow him to create an independent film production that aims to compete with the offers from major animation studios, but at a fraction of the cost. To achieve that, Diogo assembled a team of 50+ artists - borrowing some of the best talent in the industry from shows like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Arcane, and Love, Death, and Robots, and 4 production companies, including Oscar-nominated production cooperative Cola Animation, to create a unique film - and a unique way of doing animation. Diogo aims to inspire fellow artists to make their dreams a reality as well.
