Imagine an old train station from Victorian England on the corner of Old Street and Kingsland Road in London. A railway arch, with beautiful exposed brickwork, housed in the original ticket hall of the former Shoreditch Station.
Now imagine it filling up with illustrators, animators, filmmakers, concept artists, and all sorts of creatives: all united in there, ready to travel, but not with their bodies, only with their minds. A location curated in every detail, to ensure that all five senses are tingling throughout the entire experience.
Food will be served and drinks will be raised. Talks will be had and inspiration will be shared.
A place to make friends, to find strength and guidance. A place to learn. Almost a retreat for creatives, but more than that.
This is the THU London Gathering and yes, tickets are still available, but there aren’t many left. Get yours now by clicking here. The event will take place on May 11, at 6pm, at the Kachette, London.
If you won’t be able to make it though, don’t forget to tune into our live-stream at 8.30pm to watch the round table discussion about the future of animation.
You won’t regret being there.
